1) What are the advantages of solid oak furniture?

All NordicStory furniture is made of solid oak wood and finished in oil. Compared with other materials such as MDF, melamine, plastic, etc., natural wood does not emit toxic substances and retains the natural texture. Oak wood is ideal for an allergic person and some studies showed that oak wood exhibits substantially better hygienic performance than plastic and indicates an antibacterial effect caused by a combination of the hygroscopic properties of wood and the effect of wood extracts.
Oak wood furniture is easily restored if there are scratches, stains, etc. Lacquered furniture requires a special repair that is expensive and time consuming. It is very difficult to repair it at home.
Oak wood furniture is sturdy and is useful for a long time. It is environment friendly.
Each piece of oak wood furniture has a unique character due to the different textures of the wood. And you should keep in mind that some details of texture and color may be different from what you see on the screen.

2) What are the delivery times?

All orders are processed immediately. If the product is in stock, delivery takes 7-10 business days, otherwise delivery may take 1-12 weeks. The delivery time is always indicated on the selected item.
All deliveries are "on the street".

3) How can I cancel my order?

In the event that you have placed an order and want to cancel it before it is shipped, you can request it by filling out the contact form, with the request reason “I want to cancel my order” indicating your order number/name and surname.
If the order has already been shipped and you want to cancel it, you must wait to receive it and process the return through the return form.

4) How to change the delivery address?

If you want to change the delivery address of your order, you only have to fill in the contact form with the request reason “I want to make changes to my order” indicating your order number/name and surname and the new address. 
This will only be possible in the event that your order has not yet been shipped.

5) When will I receive my order?

In the order confirmation email you can see the estimated delivery time. As each product has a different type, some take less time to arrive than others. If you have ordered several items with different delivery dates and if you wish, you can contact us and group your order to receive it all on the same day.

6) Can I receive the purchase invoice?

If you need the invoice for your order, you only have to fill in the contact form with the reason for requesting "Invoice" indicating your order number and tax information and we will send it to you as soon as possible.

8) Can I receive the furniture color samples?

Sometimes it is difficult to buy something without seeing it first, we offer the option to place an order samples and we can send real photos and videos of our showrooms.
