Solid wood benches help maximize space, since you can seat more people in the same amount of room that two chairs would take up. Plus, they make the dining room look more open because they don’t have high backs, and they can be tucked completely under the table when not in use.

What is the maximum weight these benches can hold?

Made entirely of solid oak with heavy-duty hardware, our standard benches (ranging from 120 cm to 160 cm) can easily support a distributed static load of between 200 kg and 250 kg, which is equivalent to 2 or 3 adults sitting comfortably.

Can oak benches be used outdoors?

Our benches are primarily designed forindoor use. Although oak is a very durable wood, the organic oil finish is optimized for indoor environments. For covered patios or outdoor areas, they would require a specific treatment to protect against moisture and direct sunlight to prevent the wood from deteriorating.

How do I choose the right size for my dining table?

To ensure the bench fits perfectly under the table, we recommend choosing a length that is at least 10–20 cm shorter than the distance between the table legs. For example, for a 160-cm table, a 120-cm or 140-cm bench is usually ideal.

Do the benches come assembled, or do they need to be put together?

To ensure maximum protection during shipping, most of our benches are shipped with the legs removed. However, assembly is extremely simple (less than 10 minutes): just screw the legs onto the sturdy seat frame using the included wrench.
