Why choose solid oak instead of particleboard?

Solid wood offers unmatched strength and durability. Unlike particleboard or MDF, solid oak does not warp under the weight of books, withstands humidity better, and can be easily restored if it becomes scratched over time, making it a lifelong investment.

How much weight can the shelves hold?

Our bookcases are designed to support heavy loads. Depending on the model, a 2-cm-thick solid oak shelf can safely hold between 30 kg and 50 kg. For large bookcases such as theRegal 5x5 series, the frame is reinforced to hold entire book collections without the risk of sagging.

Do you need to anchor the shelves to the wall?

For safety reasons, especially with tall or narrow models (such as theEscandi line or ladder-style shelving), we strongly recommend securing them to the wall to prevent accidental tipping, particularly in homes with children or pets. The necessary hardware is usually included.

What kind of maintenance do these shelves require?

Maintenance is minimal. For daily cleaning, simply use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Since the furniture is treated with natural oils (organic finish), we recommend applying a coat of furniture oil once a year or every two years to moisturize the wood and maintain its natural luster.

Do they come pre-assembled or do they need to be assembled?

Most of our pieces are shipped unassembled to ensure they arrive in perfect condition and to make shipping easier. However, assembly is quick and easy; most of our customers can have their furniture ready in 15 to 30 minutes.

Do you offer different finishes?

Yes, most of our models are available inNatural Oak (a warm, classic shade) and Bleached Oak (ideal for brighter, minimalist Nordic-style interiors).
