What is a low display case, and how does it differ from a tall one?

The low display cabinet is about the same height as a sideboard—between 80 and 100 cm—and features glass doors instead of solid ones. It retains the protective display features of a classic display cabinet but adds what the tall version lacks: a usable top surface for lamps, decorations, or serving. It is a hybrid between a display cabinet and a sideboard.

How do you care for a low oak display cabinet?

Wipe down the frame with a damp, wrung-out cloth and natural oil once or twice a year, paying special attention to the top surface, which does get used and bears weight in the lower display case. Clean the glass with a glass cleaner applied to the cloth. Since they are at hand height, the handles get more wear and tear: an extra coat of oil keeps them in good condition.

Is a low display cabinet a good choice for a TV stand?

It works if the height places the screen at eye level when you're seated—about 100 to 110 cm at the center of the screen.
