Maximum storage in a minimal footprint: the chest of drawers extends vertically, offering five or six drawers in a space just 50 to 60 cm wide—where a classic dresser would fit only three. It’s the perfect solution when wall space is limited but clothing isn’t, and its slender silhouette adds a vertical rhythm that breaks up the typical horizontal lines of a bedroom.

On narrow walls between doors or windows, in dead corners, and next to the closet as an extension of the drawers. Given its height—between 110 and 130 cm—it’s best not to place it where it blocks window light. In small bedrooms, it replaces a wide dresser, freeing up wall space for other uses. The solid oak gives it a weight of its own that keeps it stable, but the rule for tall furniture applies: don’t open several loaded upper drawers at once; distribute the weight by placing the heaviest items at the bottom; and if there are children at home, anchor it to the wall with a wall bracket—a practice recommended for any tall piece of furniture. The standard routine: a damp, wrung-out cloth, annual application of natural oil, and wax on the wooden slides if the drawers need to slide more smoothly. Since this dresser has more drawers than any other, spend your annual maintenance time going over them all: five minutes that will ensure years of smooth sliding.

With low-profile beds, where the contrast in heights adds rhythm to the bedroom: the horizontal bed and the vertical dresser balance each other out. Alongside the solid oak beds, the tall dresser provides additional storage without duplicating the closet, and matching nightstands complete the ensemble.
