Guide to cleaning oak furniture:

Never use harsh chemical cleaners, acetone based products, or abrasive cleaners.

For daily cleaning, simply dust the furniture with a duster or a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. Use a clean cloth, which is slightly moistened only with water.

For a more thorough cleaning, you can moisten the cloth with warm water and a little neutral soap. Don't forget to rinse it well.

Always clean in the direction of the grain and without scrubbing. Try to protect all the beauty of natural wood with its textures and grain.

Next, dry the furniture very well with a soft dry cloth so that the wood does not get wet.

General recommendations:

Clean the dust every day.

Protect them from moisture. Water and moisture also cause damage, so preserve them from these elements.

Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight. Heat can damage the surface of the furniture, spoil waxes and varnishes, in addition to eating its color and shine, among other harmful effects. This is why it is so important not to leave hot containers directly on the wood.

Watch out for stains. Don't forget to serve drinks and food on coasters and tablecloths, instead of placing it directly on the wood.

Also avoid dragging items above the surface.

Appropriate cleaners for oak furniture:

There are three different types of products: silicone waxes, polishes and cleaners:

Waxes build up on the surface and create a film that conceals natural beauty.

Silicone cleaners create a charming, long-lasting shine, but they can seep into the furniture surface and make a barrier that does not accept stains or lacquers, avoiding any possibility of touching up the furniture in the future.

Furniture polishes containing mineral oils, emulsifiers and detergents are your best choice as they not only clean furniture and restore its shine, but also create a protective layer against dust and dirt.
